Is ignorance acceptable? Sat, 20 August 2011 20:12
Laughing
Enjoyed playing the game a few times. Here's a question. Sometimes folks can ask questions such as "How many Templar monks have you seen?". Is it acceptable to say (assuming the answer is genuine) "I can't remember", and expect to be allowed to ask a question in return?

As long as the question is answered honestly, its a good answer. So in your example, the respondent should be allowed to ask a question in return.

Just played last night and when confronted with this issue, the best (or fairest) solution was just to take a vow of silence.

I disagree that the "fairest" solution is to take a vow of silence. It is equally fair to answer honestly and say you don't remember.

Now if you are playing against a young child, as I frequently do, you might let them slide once. But learning to ask good questions is part of the game and it is no less fair to burn those who ask bad questions. They learn quicker that way. Twisted Evil
