upgraded mac - lost in app purchases

I bought a new mac a couple of weeks ago and migrated all my stuff across from the old one to the new one and it's almost all fine except my in-app purchases have gone so if I want to play Europe, Switzerland or 1910 it's asking me to pay again.
My old mac was on Lion and my new one is on Mountain Lion.

This is normal. The purchase was through your iTunes account, not through your machine. What this means is that as long as you are using the same account, you won't be charged in the end.
Go through the whole process and agree to pay the fee, but when it gets to the part where you need to pay it will recognize that you already bought it and will download the purchases for free.
This is a Mac system thing, not something that Days of Wonder has put in place. I hope this helps!

Thank you that was really helpful. If I say what happened next then others can know what they might expect:
The app store process wasn't without a hitch as it left me with a spinning wheel for a while and then forgot what it was doing so I tried again (and again). Eventually it came back with a screen asking me to re-enter the 3 digit code for my card as it recognised that I was using a new machine and needed to make sure I was for real.
And then it still managed to get confused and took my password a few times and it took a couple of attempts before it actually recognised that I'd made the purchase and allowed me to play.

Also, as Rasmussen will tell you, that is normal for ANYTHING you bought through the Apple Store. It will go thru the process that it looks like you might be purchasing and then see that you already purchased the item previously and will get you the item at no charge.
Just the way Apple does things!

Indeed. I wonder why that is? You would think that Apple could recognize when you bought something before going through the whole process...just so people don't get stressed about being charged twice for the same thing.
But like Cab said, it's just the way Apple does things!

There's the Apple way or there's the highway.
