We've got a great holiday present for Memoir '44 fans this year. Richard Borg has created 8 new bonus scenarios to go with all the new troops, weaponry, and military vehicles in the Memoir '44 Equipment Pack.
The Equipment Pack Bonus Scenarios span theaters as far flung as the French Stand Near Arras during the fall of Dunkirk; the battle of Vetko Village in the Soviet-Finnish Winter War; and a Breakthrough Scenario featuring the British counter-attack against the Japanese in Burma at Torbung, these 8 scenarios will put your new Equipment Pack figures to the ultimate test.
Here at HQ, we've printed up your new orders in a 12 page, four-color booklet that will be available free from retailers in Europe and North America in mid-December; and is also available for free (plus shipping & handling) from the Days of Wonder web store.
Note: Sargeant Frank recommends adding the Equipment Pack Bonus Scenarios to an order with another game or expansion to reduce your shipping costs from the Days of Wonder web store.

It doesn't say anything about an Overlord battle...just Breakthrough and normal. They would have included something about an Overlord battle is there was one in the set of maps.

I'm delighted that you're adding extra support to the Equipment Pack. The more scenarios we have with the new units, the more valuable it will become.
I just ordered mine through the web store. It's cheaper for me to pay the S&H than to find an adequate game store in my area and shlep over to it.
Looking forward to the scenarios.

If I may step in on this unrelated subject, a more accurate french christmas greeting would be 'Joyeux Noël DoW' (albeit 'Bon Noël' doed exist but not as widespread). Incidentally, (correct me if I'm wrong) it's closer to the 'merry' sense of rhe English one.
That said I'd add an example to the french language weirdness : we do say 'Bonne Année'. Note that the New from Happy New Year is absent. Heureuse Année, its direct translation, is really old french, whereas 'Bonne et Heureuse Année' is the fancy version.

So was I (old school about books) until a month ago when I broke down and bought a Kindle. My house is just way to crowded with books, games etc. that I cannot accommodate another real book. I'm eliminating my old school ways and going 21st century: I tossed out scores of cassette tapes, video tapes, DVD cases, etc. Now if only I could trade in the real books for virtual copies, I'd be pretty lean.
I now send the unofficial scenario PDFs to my Kindle before I play rather than print them out.
So I would prefer a purely electronic version. Then not only would we save $5 shipping but save space and a small part of a tree as well.
But I'm guessing the hard copy version is a promotional item for retailers primarily. Otherwise, why bother?

Mine came in the mail yesterday while I was at a friends house playing games. I looked it over last night when I got home, looks good! No overlord but a couple of cool looking EF scenarios and a BT Pacific scenario I can't wait to try. Going back to friend's house to game today, might take it along.

From what I can tell you don't really need the equipment pack to play any of the scenarios in the bonus booklet. The eight included scenarios mostly use special weapon assets (SWA). None of the specialized figures are used (I think). One scenario has a lot of Ski troops, but 3 unit infantry figures will suffice.

So you dont have the Equipment pack yet ? 
If not i hope that DoW has plenty off copies off those 'Bonus' scenarios for all the people who bought the pack already !!!
I feel these 'buyers' should for shure have the possiblity to get those at first hand ! 
Seeing how they distribute it for 'free' to all who orders 'anything' it wouldnt be fair if some EP buyers can t get there hands on the 'bonus'.
