From memory, a few contributions, to get started (well at least those that were printable  ) ...
"Forgotten tribe, forgotten tribe... I wished!" - a disgruntled local...
"Beginner's luck!" - Kneecap, Skeleton recruit, after a particularly lucky reinforcement die roll
"True, we didn't capture much... But at least, we aren't dead!" - Scapula, Skeleton general and Kneecap's boss, after an unlucky reinforcement die roll a couple of turns later...
"We were just waiting for you; Care to play knucklebones?" - Calculus, Skeleton scout
"Chief, we're down to a skeletal crew!" - a lone Skeleton patrol
"Unsinkable we are, unsinkable!" - Globl, Triton bard, after finally reaching the Sea

You know, I still remember reading through the rules the first time and being amazed that "skeleton crew" was a pun that was never employed!
