Sorry, mates...
but I have to warn you of playing against some players. These players were so unfriendly to continue playing against a Bot although they knew that I had a bug and could not see the map. Fortunately there are only very few impolite players, but in the last days I had three of them, called ALACAFETTE, BÄRTRAM and LE DOC, so please be cautious!!!

Thanks Lupo. The list of those 'noble knights' is probably never ending. Worst thing is that once somebody's name is publicly announced for unethical behavior against the opponent, (s)he always come back with a reasonable explanation that cannot be disputed.
And of course, the story is repeated and repeated...
No restrictions, or bans, can inject either 'sensibility' or 'fun' into the brains of such individuals. Fun is the target here, and sensibility is one of the key means. You cannot start a discussion with a username that enjoys beating the 'bot', tracking only the performance of his (her) miserable score.
I'm glad to see that most of the people I communicate and quite often play here, have an excellent spirit that improves competition.

Easy to relay false information.
Concerning my game with Mud and Surly, Mud has left volontary ( because blocked or not, it's not the question ) and tell Surly and me to continue without him. So right I have refused to Surly to leave. Effectively I have continue with one bot first and two after because Surly has decided to leave also.
No regret on my side, players which are playing regulary with me know my fair spirit. No problem for others.

Someone who plays against a bot is the idea of the word "botter" i think, although in Le doc's case it was his opponent who left on purpose and told him he could play on, so i'm not sure that should count as a 'real' botter .

three years that im playing this game ( about 5000 games), and the first time i have a problem with a player (may be the problem is this player)
the bot came in the end of the game for him, i ve waited for a long time, the bot took cards for him, and i finished the game
this player said to me that he was sure he could win the game : im not sure as him,
ive tried to explain my position in the lobby with him, but it was not very easy cause my english is not very good
and this is the message he send to me :
(my english is not very good, but all i understand is that this guy is a very impolite player, and me i can proudly say that im a fair play player).

Maybe you should. Just because we're all on-line and can send relatively anonymous private messages to each other, doesn't give anyone the right to be rude or vulgar!
By bringing that behavior to light, it should make the perpetrators ashamed of their choices. And if it doesn't, at least DoW will know that they're doing it (although they might already) and the rest of us will know to maybe steer clear of those people.

Any end can justify any mean mean. Your opponent acted like a punk, so can you react like a reactionary : is that it ?
In that case, strangely, the reaction came before the action : Ace got botted THEN insulted his fellow opponent. Baraka botted a player, but that happened to be Ace, so I guess he's entitled to defend himself by changing subject and by pursuing a more noble end along the way.
Punks express themselves in a very rude way, and sometimes even wear clothes that are voluntarily offensive. That does not mean they're always wrong. Except for reactionaries, that is, but usually, those keep hanging among themselves in private clubs with very stringy rules and steep fees. They don't botter with us, anyway : they use their influence to have some civil rules enforced by well-dressed thugs ;-)

I'm not clear on what your point is here... Are you suggesting that my idea of posting vulgar PM messages (being a "reactionary") is morally worse than the vulgar message itself?
Don't get me wrong, I don't really want to see all the rude, grammatically challenged, and offensive PM's you've received. My point was that by showing the message to the community at large, the rude player is no longer as anonymous. I assume (maybe incorrectly) that the rude player knows the message is rude and vulgar; they may just be shooting off their mouth and send the message before their brain can reign them in... But if rude and vulgar messages were shown publicly, it might help those 'punks', as you call them, think about what they're writing because they know other players might see their PM.
I have no problem with players expressing their frustration with a game that didn't go well or with a player they feel was unfair, but I think most people would agree that the PM Baraka - Cidre received was over-the-top rude. If it takes the community as a whole to help Ace recognize that he needs to find a more acceptable way to express his frustration, then I think it was worth posting the PM.

When you say "They don't bother with us" are you indicating that you consider yourself a punk as well? I have no problem with punks; just because someone is a punk, though, doesn't give them the right to bully someone else. Let's be clear: Ace might not have liked how Cidre finished off the game before he had a chance to join back in, but his message was designed to make Cidre feel bad and that's bullying. Apparently it makes me a reactionary to expect Ace to find a less damaging way to express his frustration. So be it.
