Dear DoW,
spare parts off all kinds are in demand !
Searching these forums on this topic, i come up with treads that go back to 2005 with questions for spare parts.
I must say, you guys gave excellent service to send me some units that were missing in a brandnew expansion box (Mediterranian Troops), and i was realy gratefull for that !
We discovered the 'shortage' off armor figs when we had to use all off them in a scenario provided in the expansions booklet !
(Might be an even bether idea to count parts when we open a new box.)
Shurely, by use and in time people will be loosing some pieces or dice or pieces, cards will, terrain tyles ware out !
Myself i m starting to do alot off boardgame play out off the house on diffrent locations and gatherings, so my chances off loosing stuff are shurely increasing.
In the online store you provide the 'command cards deck'.
Why not provide: dice, the combat cards deck,, BT deck, OL decks,
the Terrain cards deck, Troops cards deck and other Cards decks, Packages off for exemple 12 unit figs off one type, terrain tyles packs, etc.
Isnt it reaching to far that people have to buy a 'new' or 'extra' expansion to cover for 'lost pieces' ?
I hear people buying 'not memoir-figures' to cover there losses !
Commercialy looking into this, buying seperate parts will shurely always be more expensive then buying a full new box !
I even see a posibility to provide some game parts to the wide public, that are now in 'out off print' boxes !
(yes the Equipment pack was a great addition ) but smaller packs like we have the Troops expansions, could also do the trick.
Well, i m almost shure you guys have thought off all that, but i wanted to address this 'again' anyhow, since the community off Memoir fans is in demand for the above and it has bin 'promised' before to look into this issue and to deal with it !
Thx in advance for your efforts,
with high regards,
a die-hard-Memoir fan !
p.s. You could contact me freely if i could be off any help to solve our issue !

Greetings DoW,
and Flemish_Havy,
You beat me too it. I have been toying with this thought for a week or two now. I have all the Battle maps and have club members who would like to play OL One on One, and we dont have enough base set Axis/Allied troops.
I would dearly like to be able to purchase more figs of all nationalities without having to accumulate yet more terrain tiles from the expansion sets.
I am visiting the UK over Christmas, and one of my aims to is hit a good toy shop to buy boxes of plastic troops - probably Airfix if they still make them (fond memories from my youth)to suppliment what I have.
So, yes, to he Powers that Be at DoW, seperate purchase ability of bits would be great.
Thank you,
And have a cool Yule,

I suspect that wouldn't be as simple as it sounds for DoW.
I expect they order/manufacture parts to make complete sets, and then there is the handling to sell parts.
Those wanting parts might be best to keep their eyes out for second hand games to buy. Keep what you want and try to part out the rest.
It is a good concept that probably isn't viable for DoW - as much as we'd like it to be.
One thing I have done it buy Airfix 1:72 figures (beofre the euipment pack) to enhance my M44 play. Have you consider these or others as alternate ways to get more figures?

Sir,
i ve bin looking for second hand games for some months now and i can t simple find anything worth going for since the prizes people ask for second hand boxes over here are higher then buying new stuff, ripoffs !
What was my 'sollution', i bought me an extra base set and i got 2 troop sets on order right now. (together with the EP extra scenarios).
Regarding the Airfix 1/72 figs, o yeah they bring back some good memoiries for me as well ! I got me some Ansac in tropical gear and Dark blue German inf troops that go back to my yought, 8 years off age, OMG thats 36 years ago, getting old.
Troops don t seam to be the problem, but i cant find vechicles off the Memoir size, any idea sir ?
ON THE OTHER HAND, I D LIKE TO STICK WITH THE MEMOIR FIGURES, ELSE IT AINT NO USE POSTING THIS RIGHT ?!
@ All, lots off good ideas sirs for figures, but that doenst solve the dice, cards, terrain tyles, etc. ... problems !
You have to take into account that for some terrain there is only 1 piece in the box, bether keep on it as if was gold !
Well to keep it short, i dont wanne be anxious about loosing those 'precious' parts evey time i go out and play !
