Memorie44 for Ipad

Is there a version for the Ipad in Planing or development, would love to play not sitting in front of my PC

There is no iPad/iOS version of M44 online.
DoW don't, usually, pre-announce their development plans - so we don't know if one is under development.
It appears that the bulk of DoW's development efforts are, at present, on Smallworld development.
M44 Online hasn't even had a bug fix since January 2012.
M44 Online is a great game, but it is being neglected at present.
Speculation may be that M44 Online isn't generating enough revenue to support ongoing development. If this is true it would be sad.

Honesty is a good policy - I hope we agree on that.
I acknowledge that at your instigation and effort 17 more scenaros were made available. DoW supported your efforts. That's great.
However it remains that there has not be a software update since January 2012. Bugs haven't been fixed.
Tournaments are organised and played. Wonderful. (But not by DoW.)
I said M44 Online is a great game. That's positive.
I'm not dishing M44 Online. It is a great system. I play most days.
I am/was realistic about the amount of support it is currently receiving.
A new player deserves an honest reply, that doesn't skip over the cracks.

Don't mind the very mild flame war between the forum regulars.
This question gets asked every few months or so, we have not heard anything about it.
However, DOW do or have developed apps for their other games, so you never know.
We can only speculate as to why M44 is not on that list.
Possible reasons:
- Other games make them more money
- They will do it, but not before 2014 (10th anniversary of M44, 70th anniversy of D-Day)
- They are doing it to spite Phread
Personally I would go for a combination of the 1st two reasons, but really we are the blind men describing the elephant

there could be another reason.
For example, memoir is more complicated or expensive to develop for iPad.
When you want to play memoir on your computer, you have to install quite some software, while it is much less for TTR.
I guess DoW compares cost to expected revenue.
Revenue might be relatively low, and they might still develop it if the cost is just as low.

I think M44 Online utilises java - no java on the iPad, hence no M44 Online on the iPad. Replacing java would not be trivial.
Of course I could be wrong. That happens too.
