What are the river borders for in Small World Realms? I can't find any reference to how they impact the game in the instructions for Realms or Underwold.

The actual water portions of the tiles dont have borders drawn on them. You lay the white wooden pieces down across the river to create borders wherever you want. The pre-designed maps in the book show you where to put them.
