I'm sorry if it sounded like I didn't like you idea; I actually think it could be quite useful. Smile I'm just wondering what ideas you have for things that would help you identify your games. DoW is adding the ability to name games, but it's an optional feature that players can chose to fill in and I don't know if it will be visible in the game.

So what ideas have you thought of that could help?

Jesse, I just thought you wanted clarification, I never had the impression you didn't like my idea.

As for how an in-game indicator would look. Hmmm. . .
The screen is quit full already, where to fit in something I will gladly leave to the DoW people.

But it could be a game name or a game number nicely tucked away in a corner somewhere.



I, kind of, solved my problem. I now approach every game from the list of games in the "lobby". But there also you only see the name of the player whose turn it is with his combo choice. But that combined with the turn (for example 4/8) usually allows me to know which game it is. Cool

So frustrating in the PC app to still be stuck with limitations of the tablets. Mainly this annoys when picking your combos. The PC app is normally great in that it will show the combos even when you are playing turns (rather than the popout). But when it comes your turn and you choose combo, clicking "hide map" also hides the combos (While leaving the space where they would fit blank).

I'm sure they try to keep all the versions as similar as possible, but this is definitely an area where it needs work. They've already done a little to make combos always show on PC so it's likely they'd want to do this as well.

A great solution to this has been suggested by player Jontia! And it is good for both tablet and Steam! Take a look:)

Well, on the PC when you have it maximized, there's enough room to ALWAYS show the combos. There's no reason for them ever to be hidden. The situation Jontia describes is a different annoyance.

A friend of mine has been streaming SW2, pretty rare, but it's happening (twitch.tv/billionshadows, if you're interested).
You may know him from around here as Leeroy.

Anyway, I noticed that while streaming, the race+power text doesn't show up, so I guess one of my feature requests is to make that appear? I'm not sure why it doesn't.

Also, on the post directly above mine, I concur with their thoughts. Race Combos should always be present on widescreen

Mod Support, either on Steam Workshop or natively.

A highly customisable game such as Small World Deserves it.

Multiple AI difficulties.

It seems like the guys at DoW are spending their entire time adding features related to online play, but not everyone plays the game online. Not always anyway. This is the only reason I haven't been playing it for quite some time.

I understand why they're giving online features higher priority, but they shouldn't forget about offline play. They need to add at least one additional AI level that is harder than the current one, which is VERY weak (Much weaker than the one in the previous version of the game)

With all due respect, and, I agree with your suggestion, but I think they should focus on mending the bugs with the current AI rather than making the current one harder.

Of course, that goes without saying. How can a buggy AI play well anyway? Smile

I alone reported about 4 bugs related to AI in this forum. I'm pretty sure that are planning to fix them already since each of them were reported multiple times. That's why I didn't mention them here.

The clock starts as soon as one turn is over...so technically it is the next person's turn. They might not be there to take their turn right away, but the clock begins.

This is deliberate. If you're seeing more than one clock tick down at a time then it's a bug and you need to report it! Thanks for your help and have fun!!

completed games list :
We should be able to remove some games. It's good to keep the completed games but the list is huge and we can't find wich one just finished. So an option tu remove the choosen game will be (very very) welcome

It would be interesting to have ranked among his friends.
This classification would identify the number of matches made ​​against each of them in ranked games (or not), the number of wins and losses.
Finally, it would be great to have a classification by color of his friends when entering the online arena: green if we stay on a win, red if we stay in defeat, blue if you've never played against them in ranked games.
