Bon alors, on s'y met ??? Very Happy

L'année dernière, on a attaqué le samedi 31 août, et 2 semaines et demies plus tard, 57 matches avaient été joués... sacrée perf !!! Shocked
Avec au bout la belle victoire de Knock, et un tour de chauffe qui avait été très utile pour certains je pense (notamment du côté des Reds Wink )

On ne fera ptêt pas aussi bien cette année (on a l'air un peu moins nombreux), mais on verra bien... en tout cas, j'ai déjà préparé le tableau pour le classement :

Nous en sommes à plus de 75 joueurs inscrits et nous avons bon espoir de dépasser le nombre d'inscrits de l'année passée vu les inscriptions qui doivent encore arriver...

Au niveau des scénarios, outre les 6 scénarios officiels exclusifs imprimés (dont un scénario Breaktrough), nous aurons le plaisir de vous offrir un scénario imprimé "Bonus" exclusif lui aussi. De rien, tout le plaisir est pour nous... Very Happy

Vous recevrez également de nouveaux jetons d'activation pour le breaktrough (modèle destiné aux troupes qui se déplacent uniquement) et une autre petite surprise.

Nous n'avons toujours pas réussi à emprisonner Mehdi pour ne séance de pose mais nous avons bon espoir d'y arriver avant l'Open pour que son portrait rejoigne le "Hall of fame" des généraux vainqueurs. Rolling Eyes

Libération de Anvers (les Alliés atteignent le Rhin), Lille, Louvain, Malines, Etaples, Mâcon, Poitiers, Saintes, Béthunes. Demande d'armistice de la Finlande. Bataille de Sennecy-le-Grand, ordonnance nommant le nouveau gouvernement provisoire de la République Française... entre autres, et seulement sur le front ouest.

Sounds exciting!! Make sure you go in and write an AAR for all of your battles so we all know that there is actually a chance to win these as Germans. Like the title of this thread...there is indeed a chance to win the D-Day Landings as the Germans.

This is why the Allies trained in England for so long before the actual invasion. It's not supposed to be easyy. Smile

There are already lots of tiles for North Africa and Italy in the Med. Theater expansion. The Italian army gets Artillery figures and rules in the Equipment Pack. I'm afraid we won't see another set for them, but there are some great figures on the market for Italian troops!

Well, I have everything Memoir 44. So, sorry, but I know all that.
What I am look for, is more of a Campaign Book for Italian Troops (Libya, Ethiopia, Greek etc.)
- Market Garden is nowhere to be found in CB 02... Confused
- I would really buy CB 01 as a reprint, and as I am sure, there are many people like me, who don´t really like their colorprinted and bound PDF as much as a "real" book. I have to admit, to being an avid collector. Very Happy
- I LOVE-LOVE-LOVE Winter Wars.
- I also LOVE those Card Sets (Urban, Winter)
- Naval as kind of an Add-on like Air Pack, so as making those landing Operations more interesting for having to fight on sea, too. Maybe? Those cardboard-ships already existing are rather uninteresting to play, I think.

Looking at all those great scenarios done by JDROMMEL (Thank you so absolutely very much, man!), why IS there no CB03? Shocked

For some reason I was still thinking about Poland when I read "Market Garden" and my answer was highlighting the Fall Gelb campaign. I'll go back and fix my answer...though the Market Garden overlord is pretty amazing!

Although not that practical for commercial reasons I think.... I like the idea of some small expansions(smaller then normal army expansions).

Like:
Urban warfare with extra city tiles, units and scenarios
Desert warfare (Italians) with extra desert tiles, units and scenarios
Jungle warfare (Chinese, guerrillas) with.. you guessed it Smile
Mountain warfare (greece for)with .......

Of course there should be thing included that are not available in the existing scenarios, like missing/extra tiles and units.

Maybe a good idea for some extra battlemap series Smile
I really want a preprinted overlord with japanese troops (preferably a landing)

I agree with your suggestions Astavar, except reprinting Campaign book 1: just not worth the effort. But another Mediterranean expansion focusing on Italy and Germany outside of N. Africa would be great. The Med. Expansion I thought was pretty light.

I love plastic so any additional armies would be great, but we won't see this unless Asmodee takes it in that direction.

Better support for combined naval and land operations has long been on my wishlist.

In Break Through Normandy, Drop in the Night: 101st scenario, the Allied player paradrops units "before his first turn". So victory event rolls only apply to existing Allied units, yes or no?
Another such instance is The Rescue of Mussolini scenario: in this particular case, Axis player's victory event rolls are useless, as there are no Allied units to be set-up before starting the battle - yes or no?

Victory Event rolls occur after the battle is setup but before any other activity.

The Paradrop occur before the first US turn. This is just a way to have random Allied setups for their starting forces.

I would argue that the battle is not setup until after the para drop and that any VE rolls can be applied to the dropped units.

That is my 2 cents.....

I agree. Generally when a rule is ambiguous, just doing what makes the most sense is the best course of action. In this case, since the VE roll potentially affects Allied troops, they must be in place first.

VE rolls are nice to have, but not every scenario benefits from them equally.

So what we have:

VE rolls - rolled AFTER a battle is SET UP but prior to any other activity ...

So VE rolls would never affect Reserve Units.

Paradrop - BEFORE the Allied player's first turn...

One could argue that the Allied setup is NOT complete until this is done. As it is done before the first US turn (not during it) adds weight to that.

Reserve Rolls - AFTER a scenario is setup ......

I still believe that the scenario is not setup until after the Paras drop. The lone para on the map represents the pathfinders which dropped earlier.


At any rate, this is FAQ worthy, me thinks.

Si oui, serait il possible de faire un classement de 17 à 48 ? Je trouve que cela sera dommage à la vue de ce qui est annoncé de ne pas les connaitre et jouer... Rolling Eyes
Je comprendrais que cela fasse du boulot monstre en plus...
Refaire un système de poule en fct du classement et jouer les map en même temps que les 1/4... par exemple... Cool

Pourquoi pas une phase de classement de 17 à 48 (mais plutôt en élimination directe alors)? On va voir.

Ben non, les finales ce n'est pas pour moi... lol Je ne supporte pas le stress... lol
Si tu fais de l'élimination direct ça revient au même...
Techniquement cela fait 4 maps (1/8 1/4 1/2 et final).
32 joueurs hors taleaux final. Il faut des poules de 5 pour jouer 4 maps... ça passe pas n'ont plus.

Donc l'idéal serait le 17 rencontre le 48... sur la map 1/8 puis reclassement. Et idem ensuite. Rolling Eyes

1er au nb de médailles perdues : Sauron93 (29 médailles)
1er au nb de figurines détruites : EMI44 (199 figs)
1er sur le plus petit nb de figurines perdues : Sauron93 (136 figs)
1er sur le plus grand nb de figurines perdues : Cambrone40 (217 figs)

Sur ce round :
133 médailles gagnées par l'équipe russe vs 135 pour l'Axe.
530 figurines détruites par l'équipe russe vs 535 pour l'Axe.
le ratio de victoire pour le côté Russe est de 59% sur cette map.

De nombreux champs de bataille nous attendent ensuite Wink

2 points de bonus, c'est justement pour éviter le cas du mach nul.
36 points ont été distribués : 17-19 pour l'Axe actuellement !

Il reste 11 points de rencontre, et donc 2 pts de bonus, pour ainsi faire un total de 49 pts à distribuer.

C'est l'ultime bataille où le sort de la 6ème armée est décidé, où les meilleurs généraux s'affrontent, donc normal de donner 2 pts de bonus (idem campagne de Cherbourg Wink )

Il ne sera pas donc possible de finir sur un match nul Wink
Il n'y aura qu'un seul camp vainqueur !

(le seul cas de figure aurait été un score de 7.5 à 5.5 pour les russes, impossible, car dans ce cas, cela signifie un score de 5.5 à 5.5 sur le round avec une victoire des russes, mais, en cas d'égalité de points sur le round, les pts de bonus ne sont pas donnés...)
