Vassal Players...help please

Are you able to play battlelore on Vassal without having a login ID? I've tried to get a login ID and password but can't for some reason (The e-mail with my password never arrives). Also, do you have to download the vassal engine or can you just play it as a Java app in a browser? Thanks

I believe you must have the username and password. Check your Spam filters and make sure it isn't diverting the email. Otherwise, just try it w/o the password (unfortunately, it's been so long since I registered, I don't remember).
You will also need to download the sotware for vassal and the specific Battlelore module to play.

That was the problem. My hotmail account was filtering out the password.
