Running game on Linux under Wine?

Anyone had any luck getting Ticket to Ride the computer game to run on Linux under Wine?
I'm trying with Kubuntu 7.0.4 (Feisty Fawn) with Wine 0.9.41 and I'm soooooo close. I got T2R to install just fine. I can launch it and start a new solo game. But then I can't seem to click the "Go" button to start the game. Seems silly, I know.
Sadly, I can't get the update to install. I can launch the installer, but it promptly generates an error:
An error occurred:
java.lang.InternalError: Could not bind shell folder to interface
Anyone else have any luck?

I seem to be fine until I need to get new tickets, then it stops registering the mouse clicks or something. If I try to quit, the word quit disappears as my mouse goes over the button and reappears afterwards, so clearly it has not just locked up. This is running Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon (7.10).
Basically the same issue with the update too.
