Mounted Knights vs other mounted units Thu, 17 January 2008 05:10
Does the additional ignored SoS apply to all melee units, or just foot units? i.e., if my cattle riders roll an SoS against a mounted unit, is the first one ignored or does it count? The rules say "additional SoS", and we weren't sure if that meant additional to the other SoS, and therefore following the same rules. We played it that way, so that all of the cattle riders' SoS's counted, but we weren't sure.

They ignore 1 SoS from ALL units in melee. The reason that it says "additional" is that some foot units must ignore the first SoS they roll against mounted units.

So Knights ignore two SoS for most foot units and one for mounted units (inluding other knights!).
