I've thought how we can put all the content on the wiki:
Main Page:
1 Groups:
- Group A ->Link to group page
- Group B ->Link to group page
- Group C ->Link to group page
- Group D ->Link to group page
2 Last Results
3 Scheduled games
4 Current Round
- Group A
- Group B
- Group C
- Group D
5 Next Round
- Group A
- Group B
- Group C
- Group D
This way, at first sight one can see what is running at this moment on the NC...
On the Group pages there is:
- Teams
- Scorecard
- Round 1
- Round 2
... all the rounds already played
The good thing is that information is not two times, it has only to be moved when round is over.
It's just an idea of how is the best way to order the information.

Nice job !
We should have a team-match page instead of 5 pages per match.
From the seasoned wiki-user's point of view, that would be more manageable.
Remember : Put Content on Every Page !

I found a nifty wikitool for turning a spreadsheet selection into a wikitable. Absurdly simple, you can find it at:
http://people.fas.harvard.edu/~sdouglas/table.cgi
no cell padding, and it gives a background color for the header, but I just snip off the latter manualy, and if needed, you can add a cellpadding command.
Tickipedia - could it be better than the stats tool?

Currently, many of the changes in tickipedia are being made by people who have not logged in with a user name, and who appear as their IP address. While I am glad that people are adding information to the ticki, I would prefer if we had some way of knowing who was doing what. Some of the conventions are being made up as we go along, and that is fine, but it would be nice to be able to know who is responsible. For example, I saw a very nice game page for the schwen-hogwarts match, with graphics added to the screenshots, but I have no idea who constructed it.

Today, I tried to complete the Champions page:
-) a few missing tournaments (Quick Multi, Quick TAG), but I'm not at all sure if the list is complete now.
I startet playing Tournaments in NC 2005 but I think there were one or two earlier ones! Maybe theKid knows something?
-) dates (days of QTs, months of other tournaments).
-) runner-ups, although I'm not sure if they belong to a "Champions" page.

First I gotta say the site is awesome.
Angel, need to take down old buddy Razamanaz's name. Don't put up someone's name who cheated in that tournament and then used the same ploy in an NC match later that year. He was forced to forfeit the one game of the NC match because of it. After I told pilke what to watch out for, he started sending her very weird messages so she refused to play him.

WOW to all of you involved in making this a reality! It is a great site! The only thing I would add on the main page is the current stats for each team in the NC, (the current records as a team, both matches and games..so we can see surrent standings as each round is entered).
But, bravo, I love the site. Great idea.

It's pure php. And i created it with mysql support knowing of your infrastructure. Should be possible to move. I have made a backup and i can make it every time we want to move this to your site. I don't think it will cost many bandwidth.

Recently, many schedules are not posted in our WIKI
In a perfect world (at least in mine), everybody would post her/his games in the WIKI, both schedules and results, and we won't need the many scheduling/result threads

I was thinking of attempting to use the wiki for standings and such for the upcoming TTR World League... is the wiki open, or do I need permission.
If so, I'm asking

Hey,
everyone can edit Tickipedia ... even unregistered. But I think it's better for the community if you register - its very easy.
I think the best way to "learn" tickipedia is to look at "edit" at the bottom of any page. Then you can see the different styles and functions (there aren't many therefore its very easy).

Hi all,
One source of material for the ticki is forum articles. It can be quite difficult to find a favorite article from years past. The ticki, on the other hand, can be used to categorize, and improve an article, or an entire thread. For the graphics intensive posts, I suppose that all we can do is post links, so that they are easier to find, but others can be uploaded easily, and for those with a knowledge of tables, the others aren't that tough. For now, I am just looking for ideas of what to put up there. If you have favorite threads, please list them below (or put them up yourself).

Hi
I added a new feature to tickipedia: A calendar. Shown in the left bar on every site you can add calendar events to any page and these events are then marked in the calendar. Have a look at it and have fun experimenting with it.
Please contact me if you wish more Extensions. There are some important things to consider: I will look only at extensions that are marked as STABLE! Every extension with too high security risk will not be installed. Extensions too complex or requiring the installation of special linux/perl/php packages can't be installed, sorry!

and the ones I liked were
*Colorize (for no good reason)
*Flickr (might be a way to have images)
*WikiTeX (probably specific to me)
also tempted by
*EditWarning
but the documentation says that it is blind to anonymous users.
