Hi all!

Juuco - Masimo was played today and result was 4 - 1 for me.

The games were quite equal until 2 - 1, but then I got easy west tix and starting advantage in 2 remaining games.

So, this time luck beated experience.
Thanks for the pleasant games Mas.

Re:SPWC - Round 1 - Schedules and Results Mon, 03 November 2008 02:05
Monstarmaster vs Erps

4:2

If I am not excluded from the tournament because of mocking Erps in the last game it is a win for me (even though I was the underdog in this matchup).

To tell everybody what happened: At the end of our last game when I was likely to win this game which seemed lost from the middle of the confrontation I was so relieved that I managed to evade erps deadly blocking that I said the following:

GOOOOOOOOOOO ERPSSSSSSSS

ERPPPPPPSSSS!!!!

This was no nice behaviour as it implied some kind of mocking. Erps reacted by telling me that I will be excluded from the tournament for that behaviour.

I agree with erps that I should not have made these comments and I want to apologize for my emotional "breakout". However, I do strongly protest against being excluded from the tourney because of that.

Even erps said later on (in the lobby) that an exclusion from the tourney might not be the appropriate reaction even though many people here would agree to an exclusion of me while not even knowing the facts.

I want to make one thing crystal clear: Erps is a computer expert who sacrificed and dedicated a lot of his time for this and other TTR-events. I do not want him to reduce or even stop his engagement just because of (an idiot like) me who sometimes should better think a while before issueing a comment.

Greetings

MM Dennis

Hi

Thank you for showing me that it's no longer worth to do 70% of the work here for virtually nothing in the last years. It is "the straw that broke the camel's back" (i prefer the german phrase: "Das Faß zum Überlaufen bringen"). I don't mind the loss, that is not the reason. I don't care anymore if i lose or win here. But im a not in need of being taunted by anybody. I understand perfectly why players like SKM or Peter are not coming back, this all is not the same as is was 2 years before.

It is no longer in my decision if you will be excluded from this tournament (but i bet it will happen in one the following rounds anyway) or not, because i am no longer TD of this event. Get you all another one or leave it with 2 TDs, i don't care. I am out. Use my systems as you wish, but contact me only if something is not working.

I was temporary away for a few months and it was a bad idea to come back. As long as players like mm are not avoided by others who have a feeling for decency and fairness this is no longer my community. Thanks to all players that made it worth a while, it is a good moment for me to begin afresh a new period of my life.

Sorry erps to hear that - I agree with Angel - I had the same feeling a few times as well - that it would be better for my nerves and my family to quit ttr .... but as long as there are still so many nice people around I will continue ...

Maybee it is not a good idea to play and TD at the same time - at least it does not seem to be a valid strategy to get anywhere Crying or Very Sad

I will try to do my best as TD for both tournaments - but I will also show up a little less than in the last weeks. Please do post your results in the forum and I will update in erps system as my time allows. Just one post for all the results would make it easier for me. If you have problems - send me a pm.

I haven`t understood yet how to get the rooster into the tikipedia - maybee you can teach me that some time if you read that, erps.

hmmmm - I have been struggling through the forum now to collect all the results from three different threads - please again - do post only in EMC and SPWC threads - thank you - you really help me that way.

HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEJ, friends!

TTR is fun and should be fun and nothing else!

Yes, sometimes it is okay (maybe necessary) to have some small struggles between two players, but in the last time there are too many unpleasant battles (like Kid vs. Sauvignon, now Erps vs. Monstar and so on).

PLEASE!!! Remember the good times (unfortunately I started playing TTR just 3 month ago) and JUST HAVE FUN!!!

Yours,
Luc Sad Cool

I started 3 of the four games, had a nice amount of locos in all games and also good tickets. So, i was luckier than pützi.

Unbelievable ending, I thought he was ahead with 2 big ticks, drew twice without succes instead of ending the game Embarassed
Before I could type 'grats' HE drew (also without success) and magically I won the deciding game.

Thanks for the games and an interesting evening, Wildfire

Yeah, that last one was crazy! I had horrible tix, only to get a reprieve by running a good fake, but then blowing it when I decided I need to try to draw for the tix I was pretending to have.

This was probably the most interesting set of games I've played, it's definately spured my TTR interest again.

Thanks RMarkes, i hope portugal have a team in next NC and i appreciate you're "fun spirit" when luck are in my side.
