Dear Sam,
This sounds very attractive, so consider me a possibility. Thanks for your efforts in advance.

Brummbar -- Sorry this one had to be a Sunday. I figured that even gamers might be observing Valentine's Day.
Hawkmoon -- Are you applauding the scenario, or saying that you're planning to participate?

Hi Sam!
I know that Hawkmoon will be out of screen on Sunday everning.
Unfortunately, we lost a good brother-in-arms for this battle.
Brgs,
Sergey

Once again, the Marines successfully assaulted Peleliu, though the Japanese put up a tough defense. Allies won, 13-11.
Allied CinC: Tank Commander (WINNER).
Allied FGs: Tank Commander in the center, sam1812 on the flanks.
Axis CinC: JJAZ.
Axis FGs: Dakmor began the game on the right. Bayernkini played the left, and also finished the game on the right. JJAZ played the center.
Heaviest casualties were in the center, which the Allies won 6-5. Allies also gained the majority of medals on the left, 4-2. On the right side of the board, the Japanese had more kills, 4-3.
The Japanese destroyed 7 Allied armored units and reduced two more to single figures, thanks to having several of their own armored units active in the center, but they ran into card problems on their right (and also in the center on the last turn).
The Allies benefited from the fact that the Japanese didn't play a card on their right in the last 4 turns. Also, Medics aided the Marine right on turns 4 and 5, restoring a total of 8 figures, and leading directly to 2 kills.
An exceptionally bloody battle, the casualty count in figures was 63-54.
An excellent time was had by all. As always, this is a great scenario! Thanks to all who played!

Yes a great game.
One very important key to a successful Japanese defense is getting some mileage out of their tanks and JJAZ certainly did that. I thought for a while there they would prove to be our undoing.
JJAZ did a very good job as the Japanese CinC and made some very clever moves. My hat goes off to him and his team.
And many thanks to my subordinate and his many hits
