I see that DoW has added a Facebook feature. I'm not sure exactly how it works, but is there a way to connect to people on my TTR 'buddy list' who might have Facebook accounts? It would be nice because you can't exactly search Facebook for someone's TTR handle. Would anyone with DoW care to explain the Facebook feature or point me in the right direction? Confused

If anyone I know is on there I can be found by searching my name. I did find Peter, but so far that's it.

Best,
Scott

The Facebook support is still in development, which is why we did not announce/explain it yet.

For the moment, what you can do it to "link" your DoW account to your Facebook account. To do so, simply click on the little Facebook icon in the upper right corner of the page, and follow the Facebook authorization process.

Once this is accomplished, it brings you a number of new features. In the My Buddies page, you will see the list of your Facebook friends who do not have a Days of Wonder account yet, and allow you to send them an invitation. It will also add automatically to your Buddies your Facebook friends who already linked their DoW account to Facebook. Convenient.

On the Facebook side, we will also provide some nice gadgets (once Facebook has approved our application). For example, you will be able to add to your profile a tab with your score and ranking, and show how you are ranked compared to your other Facebook friends Cool

So just hold on until we "officially" launch and explain this cool project. Until then, you should tell your DoW Buddies to link their accounts to Facebook (if they have a Facebook account), and you should also send invitations to your Facebook friends so that they discover Ticket to Ride Online. Signing-up is a one-click process for Facebook newcomers, so it's very easy.
