Can anyone point me in the right direction to find a 2/Two player Overlord rules summary (I do have the Overlord expansion, but wondered if any one had summarised how this translates to a 2 player game). Txs.

You probably already know this, but look here for overlord rules under "Operation Overlord":
[url=http://www.daysofwonder.com/memoir44/en/content/rules/]
The rules merely state "With 3 players per side, the
Commanders-in-Chief sit in the Center and also act
as the Center Field Generals; with 2 or even 1 player
per side, the players play all roles collectively, for
their camp."
Maybe someone else has more info on 2 player overlord.

When you're doing 2-player Overlord, if one of your Field Generals disobeys an order, you will find yourself more tempted to be lenient with the punishment.

Are you talking about 2 players per side or 1 player per side?
If you are playing one on one you play all roles.
If you are 2 players per side, I have had some very good sessions by having one player being the c-in-c and one player being all three field generals. It maintains the chain of command and is tense for both players on the team.
CinC holds the cards and deal them to the field generals and the field general have to do his best with th cards he is given.
We maintain all rules for communication, so the CinC can only discuss with the field general player about ONE section per turn.

You can find an overlord rules summary on my user page. I made this for a convention that I went to. It helps with the confusion of "who plays which card?". Even though I now have OO with the great cards, I still use the sheets so that there are no questions.
