If this is somewhere else, I'll delete this but how will it work? Will the 4 teams with byes be ranked 1-4 and the others then ranked or will say 2a, if they aren't the 2 with the bye, play 4c or 3b play 4a etc.. And then how do they fall under the bye seeds? If it isn't done, it needs to be worked out now before a clearer picture of who you might play emerges. [Report message to a moderator]

it is in the rules: 21: (1,6,7,12,13,18,19), (2,5,8,11,14,17,20) and (3,4,9,10,15,16,21), 11 weeks 4 teams advance per group, the group with the best 2nd comer will be renamed to group D, the next groups circular to E and F, then the pairings for first rd KO will be: 1E-bye, 3F-3D, 2D-bye, 2F-4E ---- 1F-bye, 2E-4D, 1D-bye, 3E-4F best 2nd comer will be determined according to the tiebreaker rules (13.7) Quarterfinal: 1Evs3F-3D; 2Dvs2F-4E;;; 1Fvs2E-4D; 1Dvs3E-4F was a decision in the board [Report message to a moderator]

No idea though what next groups circular to E and F means though? Is E group C if B has the 2 byes or A if C does?

exactly as Qorlas described. To explain a little further - the changing of the groupletters is used so that we do not get confused with the prior numbering (A,B,C) basically the group with the best secondcomer (that team gets the 4th bye) is the new "first group" (could be newA, or any other new letter, I used D) then the two other groups follow in circular order - Qorlas put all the possible options together. It does not matter in which RR group the best secondcomer is, the system is always the same and works - I tried it with all three possible outcomes. EDIT: probably it is easier to understand if I change the wording to: "... the group with the best 2nd comer will be renamed to group D, the other groups will be renamed in circular order to E and F,..."
