Air Bombardment Card	Mon, 12 October 2009 22:47

I was reviewing the DoW news announcement for Sword of Stalingrad (http://blog.daysofwonder.com/?p=1168&language=en) and reread the air bombardment card. I like the idea of the card but would have preferred new plane miniatures to fulfill this new rule/role. Lieter007's new air units (http://www.daysofwonder.com/en/msg/?th=18151&start=0) have some good suggestions and nice cards. I guess for now the Air Bombardment card will have to work until new planes arrive with attribute cards... officially. [Updated on: Mon, 12 October 2009 22:48] [Report message to a moderator]

I am not sure how I would like to see new aircraft introduced... I am not a big fan of the air rules as they are but would like to see more units and capabilities added. Airpack 2?... I could probably be suckered into it but would need more info before purchasing. I am thinking if DoW is going to move forward with the battle map series they should introduce new units this way. The only other army expansions I can see are Italians and possibly French... I don't see airplanes being added to these but who knows. [Report message to a moderator]

I could do without the French and Italians (plastic figures that is ) but the new card deck I wasn't expecting. What a great addition to the game. I would love to see an official 3D terrain pak. The home-made stuff I have seen are nice but something from DOW would be great, in it's own carrying case. It would be a few bucks that I am sure but I love this game so much, no problem here. I am also in favour of an Italian and French Army pack. It would also be great to have a plane for these nations. Perhaps one day we will also see models for the mortars and an expansion with those SKDFZ Half tracks ! [Report message to a moderator]

How good to own ToI... (just kidding) Sdkfz., Panthers, Tigers, Shermans... all I need for a good battle. But I'm also keen on the idea of releasing new figures for Mem '44. [Report message to a moderator]

I use my half-tracks, jeeps and Morris quads as single infantry units. I had toyed with making them available as mechanized infantry, move 1-2 and battle or move 3 with no battle. Having the extra units makes the board look more pleasing. I do the same with artillery, one gun with a half-track or truck. The unit always gets removed before the gun.
