14 teams successfully registered their participation in the CL tournament.
The remaining players in the 'searching' list have until 23:59 GMT on Wednesday to form a team.
After this, at my discretion, I will allow teams comprising players from the same nation. (Phase 3)

Rule reminders:
3.6 Phase 1: Teams with all players of unique nationalities only. Single players (having no team) must declare their intention to play during this phase. No player will be allowed to join the tournament following the end of this first phase, unless at the discretion of the TD(s). During this phase, declared single players may form and register teams as per the rules.
3.9 At the moment of team registration, teams are required to declare: (i) all players' names; (ii) all players' nationalities; (iii) all players' US/2P combined ELO (as posted in the thread); (iv) the total US/2P combined ELO of the team (highest ranked 3 players); and, (v) the proposed Captain and Vice-Captain.
3.10 Any team/player found abusing or manipulating the registration rules in their favour to form a team in Phase 3 will be disqualified and no player from this team may join the tournament.
If players are missing from the published ELO list, please add their combined US/2P ELO at the time of registration.

One final thing, team names are not just allowed, but positively encouraged. I'm sure if you and your team wish to add a prefix to your usernames, it won't upset World League players finding their opponents too much.

Seems sensible  , but let's not bother with a new thread. Let's keep all interested players, teams or individuals, in the same place.
Therefore, if ANYONE is interested in playing, especially those of you WHO ARE LOOKING FOR A TEAM would like to register IN THIS THREAD, please do so.
You do not have to have formed a team to register.
Please include your nationality.
I will maintain a list/table in the first post of this thread as players post to save trawling the thread.
And if you're close to forming a team (like me!), c'mon! What are you waiting for?!

I would consider playing, though haven't looked much at the rules or the format and my ELO is probably higher than my skill level so might not make a good selection. But if a decent team needs someone I'm probably available.

Hey folks,
Thanks to everybody who has registered for the tournament so far, be you in a team or by yourself. Thanks again to the support of the DoW team for sticking the thread.
I am aware of at least 3 other teams currently forming, bringing the total number of teams to 9, plus more made up of those currently searching for a team.
It would be great to reach 12 registered teams, and I would be thrilled with 16. In fact, 16 would be perfect! So if you haven't yet decided if you want to play, have a look at those players who are definitely playing (plenty of 'tops' ), find some team mates over the next week or so, and join in!
Remember, January 2nd is the deadline for all interested parties.

Quick CL update...
9 registered teams!
Grats to all. Teams who have players yet to register an interest have until 23:59 GMT on Saturday 2nd January to register.
11 interested players looking for a team.
Thx you guys. Remember, now that you've signed up, you have until 23:59 GMT Wednesday 6th January to form a team of 3 or 4 and register here. Good luck.
Everyone else: there's still time for you to register a team! If you cannot find a team, post here and I'll add you to the 'searching for a team' list. At least this gives you a few days longer to make a team. If you don't do this, I will not accept your registration in a team after 23:59 GMT on Saturday.
I'm honoured that such a wide range of players have signed up to play, from those at the very top of the game (5 of the current top 10, no less!), to those willing to learn and take part in their first ever tournament. You know, if we get to 12+ teams, the tournament will be fantastic. 16, as I've mentioned before, would be the perfect ideal.
