Will this expansion be available for order after April 15 in Europe?

YOu can place your order now, and it will be shipped from Days OF Wonder on April 15th.

If you are talking about other stores in Europe I guess they would have to recieve their copies first so maybe a week or so after that. I don't know how long it takes a gamestore to get the games from Days Of Wonder.

I meant, that I won't preorder the expansion right now, I can only order this only after I'm done with my exams.

So will there be copies available after April 15th?

No, Days of Wonder is only going to have pre-orders available. If you don't pre-order it you're out of luck!! Laughing Laughing Razz

Of course there will be copies available after April 15th. That's when they're all shipped out to the stores and when it becomes available to everyone!

All shipped to other stores? I prefer ordering form the DoW webstore, because here are no such stores...

The only time I've ever seen a Days of Wonder board game available out in the market (other stores and web stores) but not available at the DoW web store is when something is out of print. Since this hasn't even come out yet, you have nothing to worry about. The DoW store will have plenty of copies! Cool

Well, I haven't posted here for ages but, this has got me really excited to the extent that I have ordered TWO sets to make my own Breakthrough/Overlord scenarios. After a disappointment with the miniatures in the Desert pack, I have been more than pleased with the Stalingrad expansion and now this.

Great stuff.

Thank you DoW.

Welcome back! It has been a while, though I hope you're still able to play the game every so often. Cool

Two copies! Shocked I could see why someone might want to do that, and I have to admit that with the price, it wouldn't break the bank to get two of this expansion. Razz

Hi Jim.

Nice to see your friendly face here too.

I am going to use the campaign bag map(+ one copy of the Breakthrough kit) for my BO itch for now, and if people start developing BO for the beach board, winter or desert I might rethink my decision.

I am thinking of revisiting the Prokorovkha BO I made a late last year and put in more units.
And maybe I need to think about getting that second basegame soon.

The Breakthrough Kit appears to now be in the retailer shops (at least in London) but no sign of my pre-order arriving yet Sad .

Shame, as a Bank Holiday Monday becons this weekend and it's going to rain - it would have been perfect for a Memoir-a-thon!

It is shown as "in stock" at the Orc's Nest in London and Infinity Games mail order. So what, exactly, is the benefit of Pre-order? Rolling Eyes

It's been a while since I ordered from DoW website - can anyone remember whether we get emails when they dispatch, or do we just find out things have been sent when they arrive on the doorstep?

I believe they do send an email upon dispatch of the item. But it takes a few days to arrive from France.

Yes, DOW is very efficient in sending an acknowledgement by email:
- when they receive the order
- when they bill the order (if a credit transaction)
- when the item is set to ship (item tracking is usually available on some items)

They have always given me great service.

I am certain that Achtung Panzer meant that the item takes a few days to arrive and not the email.

Indeed I did Stevens! Actually got my shipment notification email today, saying the Kit was shipped yesterday, so I should get it early next week. However I could have bought the Breakthrough Kit in the shops yesterday and would now be starting my weekend Memoir-a-thon.

In honesty I won't be taking "advantage" of the pre-order option in future and will simply check the retail supplier website close to any new Memoir expansion being released.

hopefully just a few days more, and then it'll be non-stop memoir!

I wonder, could this be the same expression I got just now, when I told my wife: "I was trashed 8-0 today as the Allies in Omaha Beach- Overlrod and I also stopped by the FLGS on the way to buy a second base game to be able to play the D-Day landings in Overlrod format." Rolling Eyes

For some wives, that might be an expression of disgust, relief, or the primal urge to go out and use some credit cards. Rolling Eyes

You folks know it won't be long until someone decides to put two Breakthrough boards side-by-side for an Overlord Breakthrough scenario, right?

Very Happy

That, my Friend, Is exactly my cunning plan. I have pre-orded two sets and they should be with me on Monday.

Actually the main advantage with pre-order from DoW or any order from DoW for that matter is the ability to track the order on this site.

Btw, that is "Battle of Prokhorovka", the one before the final scenario.

Just a short note...

We've had a shipping delay with the Memoir '44 Breakthrough expansion in the US that won't allow the product to be available this week as we had planned. It now looks like it will be available in stores in the US on May 19 and in Canada probably a few days later.

We will try to get any pre-orders that were placed in the Days of Wonder webstore to you by the 19th as well.

Sorry for the bad news on this delay. It is frustrating to us as well. Thanks for your patience.
