i am 100% looking forward to getting the online version... I cant play enough M44 with my mates and being able to play online is 100% important for me.

I just hope that we will be able to play against the A.I. because I don't like to play online. I've had too many problems with connections dropping out. I've gone from dial up to DSL to cable, and other than speed on downloads, problems still exist. I have played xbox 360 games online, but again, would prefer to play other players in the room.

Well, you'll be happy then because DoW has done a great job on the AI for the online Memoir '44 game!! You will be very pleased, I believe.
It will completely be your choice but as a beta tester I haven't had a single problem with a game being dropped. I've run into other problems and bugs, but connection trouble or dropped games has never happened (and I haven't heard any reports of dropped games either, though they might be there). You may want to give it a chance...

Glad to hear it! Even if you go in to only play against the AI (which will be a lot of fun...nothing wrong with that) it is very fun to play against people you've seen and talked to on the forums here!
One other thing...it would actually be "Thanks Ras" because there is only one 's' at the beginning and two 'ss' at the end. My wife tells her students that there is no 'ass' in 'Rasmussen' which makes it easier for them to remember the spelling!

What do you mean, accessed? Right now the game is being played by a group of beta testers (including anyone who now has a little "beta tester" icon under their user name) and it's our job to find bugs and such.
Eventually it will be opened to more players to test and then to everyone to play, but nobody knows when that will happen. You might want to head over to the new forum that's dedicated to the beta testing to find out more!

Being able to play against an AI is very, very good news for me for a number of reasons ... one of them being the ability to play while I should be working! That way I can take long pauses when I need to without irritating the other guy.
Hoping this leads to Memoir 44 on Xbox Live Arcade. I don't know how Ticket to Ride did (I bought it), but I would loooove to see M44 there.

The game is currently scheduled to go into an Open Beta sometimes in November of this year (2010). More news will follow once we get closer.
