A NEW WARGAME BY DAYS OF WONDER ?

I am fond of wargames. I like Memoir 44.
My question ( and we are a few to ask it) is : May we expect a new wargame based on another period like the american civil war or the napoleonic wars or maybe the roman wars ?

Interesting idea...is this question based on a rumor that I haven't heard? I suspect that we can expect more expansions for Memoir '44 but I'm not sure about a whole new line of products...only a little while ago DoW sold their 'other' wargame (BattleLore) and I don't know that they'll replace it with a different one.

Thank you for your answer,rasmussen81.
But let me tell you that it is not even a rumor, it is just a wish.
A new line of products should be welcomed.
I mean with a game based on another period, we should be able to use cavalry, square formation,... well different tactical ways of playing.
The small napoleonic or roman soldiers would be nice.
A lot of expansions should be created too. Imagine all the armies and battles in History !
Well, the question (wish) is still opened!

If you are talking about other wargames based on the Commands and Colour system used in Memoir' 44 these games exit already.
American Civil War: Battle Cry About to be reprinted
Napoleonic wars: C&C NapoleonicsReleases in november
Roman wars: C&C AncientsReleased in 2006
All three games are produced by other companies.
If you are talking about more wargames from Days Of Wonder I really don't know.

Thank you for your reply, ad79.
I know the games you are talking about. They are all great games.
But Days of Wonders creates so attractive games.
Memoir 44 is a excellent family wargame.
Why not the same kind of game with battlemaps for Waterloo (I live in Belgium 30 miles from the battlefield) or Austerlitz and so on.
Expansions with russian, prussian, french guard, light and heavy cavalry, ...
Well, untill now, they are all in my dreams. Maybe, I'll get them for real in the future.Who knows....

If you can't wait for another WarGame on Day of Wonder then why not try out another Companies game? My dad is an extreme fan of Devil's Cauldron and I sometimes watch him play it with his friends. It looks pretty worth playing even for my age!

What I am suggesting is just because from my point of view, Days of Wonder is slightly less popular and therefore I have only experienced other game maker companies games besides Ticket to Ride in which has been a family favourite.
