It can't be helped, though...a man has to take a vacation when he has the time off work. Smile

Have fun!

Jesse,

Enjoy the vacation with your wife. It's not often that you have a chance to see the other side of the world. Smile

Besides your absence will give us a chance to hone our skills. Twisted Evil

BTW, I haven't forgotten about the FAQ updates and other things I was working on -- it's just been a crazy busy Autumn for my family and me. Embarassed

I will, but it's actually not that far away from us...only a 4 hour flight maybe. We're living in Abu Dhabi for the next two years, so I'm already living on the other side of the world! Cool While we're here our plan is to visit as many interesting places as we can afford. This is our first major trip from our new home base!

I'm not the one you need to worry about... Rolling Eyes I had the top spot for a few days but Brummbar is the powerhouse! Watch out when you go up against him! Confused Very Happy When it comes down to it though, it's just really fun to play against people you feel like you know from this forum no matter if you get kicked around the battle field!!! Cool

Don't let Jesse fool you, he's no slouch! Some of the toughest games I've played were against him.

I do agree that it is very fun to play others that I've come to know on the forums here. I look forward to playing everyone who didn't get a chance to get in yet...soon friends!

I'm glad to hear the open beta testing is upon us. No homework for my students this week. I'm going to need my nights free from grading papers to insure I can get in as many hours of Memoir as possible.

You're a teacher!!?? Me too. We'll have to meet on the battle field some time and talk about teaching and using Memoir '44 for history lessons!

Pardon my honesty, sir, but this situation is reminiscent of Rommel taking leave for his wife's birthday during Operation Overlord.

LOL Laughing Hopefully this time it won't be a disaster, though Razz

Can we narrow the start date down to more than "this week"?
