Any expiry date on the ingots?

Someone over on Boardgamegeek has raised the question if there's any expiry date fine print on purchased ingots. Do they expire or are they good until used?

Another Ingots question- if you buy the 60 Euro pack, it says it comes with a $30 DOW credit to buy Memoir 44 or expansions. Does this mean it can ONLY be used for Memoir products? as I already have all of them, I'd be much more interested in using it for other DOW games- in fact if I'm going to be buying the other games anyway, this is a no-brainer (or a very frustratingly-worded offer, depending on the response)

I remember reading in the fine print that you can use the 30$ towards anything in the online store. I'm pretty sure it specifically mentions being able to buy other games.

Gold Ingots are good until used. They do not expire.

Can the coupon be used to buy a Captain pack?
|
Yes I believe so (and will verify and correct here, if I turned out to be wrong - those that know for sure are asleep right now)

Spend 60 on the Major!!! get a 30 coupon, spend 30 bucks and the 30 coupon on another Major and get another 30 coupon????
you could keep that up and really rack up the GI credits...
with the extra cost of GI's just to use specialty units, that may be the way to go???

Sounds like a plan I could see a few players using to get themselves a bunch of Online playing time. Good thinking, Randwulf!

No need for clarification..read the fine print under the Major Pack...although it does say Sergeant Pack [which I think is a typo..otherwise, $30 / 8 doesn't divide exactly!!]
As for using the $30 for the Major pack and getting another $30...interesting!!

Just to make it perfectly clear. If you purchase a Major Pack, you will receive 2,400 GIs and a $ 30 coupon. You can then go and use this $ 30 coupon toward the purchase of a Captain pack (for instance; you could also keep it to buy another Major Pack later at $ 30 off, or use it to purchase 3 Sergeant Packs - though the later would make no sense economically, using it to get a Captain Pack would be much better).
The only thing is that because the Coupon system is currently not supported directly using the In-Game interface, when you receive your Coupon you need to make sure you make the purchase that uses it via the Web site, not directly in- game. In other words, if you want to use a Coupon, then go ahead and make the purchase that uses that coupon on the War Treasure page
rather than in-game.
Hope this clears things up.

As an added strategy for saving money you can use any of the 10% off coupons you get for signing up your games. This can save you some money on the initial purchase!

and I have 5 10% I need to use!!!! I can use up to 2 of them so that's 12 bucks off the Major!!!
the dollar coupons don't expire, but the % coupons do...
so I guess DOW will get to hold 30 bucks of my hard earned money...
till I need to use it again LOL

| Actually both type of coupons expire after 12 months, unless you buy something within that time period, in which case they are all renewed for another 12 months (see the Ordering and Shipping Policy for more details). In other words, they expire 12 months after your last purchase.

i don't really understand this sentence: Does it imply that one can get either a free base game (50$) or 30$ discount on expansions? Or is it just 30$ off any product. In that case i would not say Free Memoir '44 Base game.

It's $ 30 off any game sold on our web store (including M44 expansions or base game, if that's what you wishes to use your coupon on/toward).
