Hi:
I was playing a game and there was a computer glitch which locked up my and my opponents computer in a standard game and we could not resume. We tried to resume battle to to avail. How do we get the honor star restored that was taken away. Please help!
Thanks

First of all, welcome to the forum!!!! And welcome to the wonderful world of Memoir '44 Online!
Speaking as a player who has been playing Memoir '44 Online since it was released in Closed Beta, I don't worry too much about the Honor at this point. In Closed Beta we were all down to 1 or 2 stars because there were so many bugs and crashes. So don't worry too much about loosing a star because everyone playing online right now knows that games are crashing...so I think they'll be pretty understanding.

loss of honor??? how about loss of GI credits when the game locks up two times in a row??
Y'all should credit 5 Gold Ingots to everyone that sends in a bug report on a crash!

If your game crashes and you can't resume it (which is a bug in and of itself), then after a 15 min delay the Gold Ingots you had used for that game get automatically credited back to your account.

Eric,
Does the definition of a crash include a player quitting and then bot freezing? It isn't a crash per se but does cause one to quit as well.

Yes.

But I gather that isn't the case if a player quits, the bot takes over and the game finishes, right?

Correct. If you finish the game, the game is ended, and both players are charged (even the one who defected). If you don't want to finish your game against Johnny, quit the game and both players will be refunded after 15 minutes. Very simple.
