Question, how to switch between face to face mode and travel mode?

I found the options in help document but I didn't find how to switch between these two modes. When my friends and I play it, we need to rotate the ipad a lot of time , which is quite unfriendly.
I'm sorry I don't know how to change the mode so I come here. Thank you advance for the answer

Because of Apple Guidelines, we could not force one mode or the other, so here's how it works:
If you lay your iPad flat on a surface, then the game will automatically be in Face to Face mode.
If instead you are holding your iPad in your hand (if you're sitting next to your friend on a coach, for instance, with the iPad in your hand) then the game will automatically be in Side-by-Side mode.
Note that even in side-by-side mode, one of the player will see the maps graphics from the top down (but all his tokens will be orientated correctly, still and the map will auto-rotate as the iPad goes from one player's turn to the next).
Hope this clears things up.

oh, that make sense.
No wonder it is always rotating and I need to rotate it back.
