Santa didn't bring me any Memoir'44 stuff, as I got it all. Missing only a second Winter/desert board and a second Eastern Front.
He did however bring me Napoleon's Triumph and Fauna.

Ad79, I looked up Napoleon's Triumph. It looks like a great game. Congrats.

Yes, I think it will be good. It scratches a different itch than Memoir, and will probably be a little bit harder to get to the table than Memoir, as I have a bunch of friends that like Memoir.

Well, if you want a second winter/desert board... Merry Christmas cause I have an extra to give you
Unless you live overseas...then you'll have to wait a little while I save up postage

A most surprising and generous offer, Jed!
I live in Norway, so that might qualify as oversees.
Might I ask why you have extras?

You DO live a ways away from me here in texas! I got an extra set from a family member last month who knew I played the game but did not know I had everything already I have duplicates of several expansions and wanted to share my good fortune with someone why may not have been so lucky.
How much do you think it would cost to ship to you?

Again, I am truly amazed by the kindness people on this forum shows. People help each other every opportunity they get.
Jed offers to send me an extra Winter/desert board and Randwulf helps when the question about shipping costs come up.
Thanks to both of you, but no offense meant Randwulf, the biggest thanks goes to Jed.
Jed, I sent you a PM.

Winter wars and disaster at dieppe came in the christmas order from DOW along with some other little gems. (My family have had some good fun with Fictionaire.)
My Friend got me a copy of weapons of world war II (isbn 9781407501956 parragon publishing) which is full of stats and information and artwork and photographs.
To give an idea what its in it (as i can't find photos of the contents online) the chapters are Infantry weapons, Unarmoured Vehicles, Armoured vehicles, Artillery, Special weapons, Aircraft and ships. These cover the German, Italian, United kingdom, Japan, France, Soviet union, Canada, Poland, Switzerland, Sweden and of course the Usa.
I keep trying to think of obscure tanks or guns to see if it has a picture or artwork and so far i keep finding them. I love this book.
Im sure there are things not in it but as an example there is a photo and some artwork for the German Borgward IV and the Goliath which where remote control vehicles used for demolitions! The Goliath measuring in at 1600mm Lx 850mm W x 600mm h.
ok stepping away from the book before get to excited and geeky Its just nice to get a great book that seems to have the information so easy to hand that I have spread across a small library
Well have a great holiday to everyone on the forum i have just found a page on Dora and Gustav the rail cannons and will settle down with a nice cup of tea to read it
Ok well have a great holiday folks im off to read

No Offense taken at all, just glad it is not too much... The slow boat mail cost is much less than the air express, but it takes so much longer to get there...
Happy gaming.

Received the Eastern Front Pack and Winter/Desert map. Nice adds to my ever burgeoning M44 collection.
The former will help with the Stalingrad Overlord games I'm running at a FLGS in two weeks.

Welcome! Glad to have a new convert...you've found your way to the most welcoming and friendly forum around. It also helps that we're discussing such a great game!
I saw that you're already having fun tweaking some of the Artillery rules. That's one of the great things about this game...the system is flexible enough to handle differences of opinion and still be fun.
I look forward to seeing you around the forums here!
PS - Have you discovered Memoir '44 Online yet? Check it out, you might enjoy playing online!
