Arnhem bridge closed!

It seems the German authorities in Arnhem - Holland, have closed the bridge for access. Unfortunately this means that their elite armor units cannot cross to defeat a small group of tenacious british paratroopers hiding out on the opposite shore...
Or to put it another way - I had to defeat the british without ever crossing the bridge due to a bug in the map. Somebody give me a medal for that
Has anybody else been unable to cross Arnhem bridge lately?

We've heard reports from scouts about this. We'll investigate quickly and assess the situation.

Especially as that award has already been "retired"
This would be an interesting scenario to play without the bridge crossing.
The Axis have 5 infantry against 5 Allied infantry. The Allied artillery will be the key as usual. Can the Axis advance their artillery to the river to help?
Will there be a new medal for playing this damaged scenario?
Will it be fixed in beta16?
Stay tuned for more

Maybe this is how you become general - win on the German side in this scenario....

I just lost this scenario due in large part to the fact that nothing could cross the bridge. My opponent was down to a two piece artillery unit, one two piece infantry, and two one piece infantry.
My opponent played well and he won...by one medal. I was leading for a while, but could not cross the bridge and his artillery just backed my infantry against the river and killed them.
It was a great game and my opponent did well, but I was winning and unable to exploit the advantage due to the bridge malfunction.
I feel like I played a perfect game of golf...only to be hit by lightning after a hole in one on the 18th.
Beta...it's not the Alpha!

I have heard no reports that Arnhem Bridge is passable, so I presume it is still closed.

Yes the bug is confirmed, a side effect of some new code on Obstacles.
This will be fixed in the next release.
Sorry for the temporary bridge closure.

As a software developer I know that you're conforming to the unwritten, unspoken code - "For every bug removed add a new one that is harder to find and harder to fix!"
