Shortcomings in M44O for playing through the Campaign Book?

I was thinking of buying the Campaign Book for my M44 play. Then I started to wonder, given the current feature set of M44 Online, how feasible it would be to play though the campaigns using Expert Mode.
Given what M44O can do now (Beta Version 18), would one run into many problems running through the three campaigns in the book?
Thanks

Well reinforcements and "what ifs" would be difficult...

These would take some doing, but I think you could probably make it work. You would obviously be playing against someone you know and you could just figure out a way to roll those dice with the first attack or something. It wouldn't be pretty but it should work...
The larger problem I see with this idea is that the scenarios from the Campaign Book are classified and I don't think you can expect that DoW will want people re-creating classified scenarios for Memoir 44 Online...They might not care, but it would be 'working around' the classified status. Also, if you don't own the Campaign Book, how are you going to create the scenarios to play with.
I think you would be better off buying the Campaign Book and enjoying it in the board game format!

Don't forget that eventually the Campaign System will probably be programed into the Memoir '44 Online system so that we can all play official Campaigns online! I look forward to that prospect...
But it will likely be a long time before that dream is realized and the Campaign system is so great you don't want to have to wait for it!

Eventually you will/should be able to. But for now, i'd say it might be a bit premature (ie I would not buy the Campaign book to play it in Expert mode at this point). There's still too many things we need to polish up there (including the possibility to play said scenarios and/or let you upload your own scenarios from the SFTF).
So while I think the Campaign Book is a good investment (and I would not advise anyone to wait until it runs out of print to look for it ), if your sole reason for buying it was to play the scenarios online, then I don't think that will be too practical in the short term (ie the next few months).
But eventually we'll get there.
Hope this helps,
eric

That does help. Thanks!
Wow, Campaign Book, Hedgerow Hell, Air Pack, all out of print/going out of print from what I've heard. And I've only got one of the three.
