Armor Overrun after entering minefield? Sat, 26 February 2011 04:16
If an armor unit moves onto a minefield hex and the minefield counter is a "0", the minefield counter is removed and the armor must stop, because it entered a minefield.

However, if the armor unit has a successful close assault, may it now take ground and do an armor overrun?

I say NO because:
Page 7 Terrain Pack Rules
Quote:

When entering a Minefield, a unit must stop and may not move any further on that turn.


And yet when I played Hellfire Pass in the Online game it asked me if I wanted to do an armor overrun after a successful close assault. I said yes and it allowed my unit to move on and attack again.

I have sent a bug report.

You're correct. "Stop and move no further" means there should be no overrun when you step on a minefield. Whether or not the minefield rolls dice is irrelevant.
