Manado Landings	Fri, 15 April 2011 15:04

Played this scenario yesterday and could not find out what the five battle star tokens around the airfield were for. Did I miss something in the special rules for this battle? [Report message to a moderator]

They are for keeping track of how many units you have para-dropped.

Each time a unit successfully drops on one of these hexes, remove the corresponding battle star (to keep track of the total number of units dropped).

Problem is that with each successful unit dropped you have fewer "target" hexes to hit with the para drop, so I rarely get to land all 6 units. Or have I got this wrong? [Updated on: Fri, 15 April 2011 21:55] [Report message to a moderator]

Sorry but I do not get it. Do I have to try to drop my paras on the hexes with the battle stars? And if I hit a hex with a battle star, only then I can deploy a para unit on which the star is removed and cannot be used again for a future drop? Is that correct? [Report message to a moderator]
