Played this scenario yesterday and could not find out what the five battle star tokens around the airfield were for. Did I miss something in the special rules for this battle?

They are for keeping track of how many units you have para-dropped.

Each time a unit successfully drops on one of these hexes, remove the corresponding battle star (to keep track of the total number of units dropped).

Problem is that with each successful unit dropped you have fewer "target" hexes to hit with the para drop, so I rarely get to land all 6 units.

Or have I got this wrong? Rolling Eyes

Sorry but I do not get it.
Do I have to try to drop my paras on the hexes with the battle stars? And if I hit a hex with a battle star, only then I can deploy a para unit on which the star is removed and cannot be used again for a future drop? Is that correct?

I haven't played this one yet, I'm still working on several scenarios of my own. One scenario is held up until the editor update to show winter wars badges and terrain tiles. But I hope the link helps...
