Tovarich achievement?	Tue, 10 May 2011 20:05

In the announcement, it says that it is an honor badge. Smile

I just replayed all the Eastern front battles, and won all of them from the Russian side. No achievement, so it must be something else... Geoff [Report message to a moderator]

Strange ... the achievement description says: "Battled with the Russian Commissar rule, and won". Of course, lots of players already did that, but no one has been awarded the Tovarich badge. Has it yet to be activated? [Report message to a moderator]

I think it's an active medal...but it has to be harder than just winning a battle while playing with the Commissar rule! Otherwise everyone would earn it quickly and it wouldn't be very special. Rolling Eyes

If that really is the case, the description is incorrect or at least incomplete. It should be changed or set to "classified". But I'm still not sure whether there isn't some technical reason behind this. [Report message to a moderator]

True, you can never rule out the technical side of things...and re-reading it, the hint does make it sound like it should be easy to get. Razz

I was just at a loss after I had played all of the Eastern Front scenarios (and won as the Russians) last night and still had not gotten the achievement. I figured it either wasn't activated or i was missing something.

Strange things are going on here ... the achievement has now been moved to the "Specialist" section ... but still no awards! Couldn't one of the crew guys give us a hint? [Report message to a moderator]

Winning a battle with the Russian commissar rule should be enough. The achievement will only be granted for the new games you will play. This Tovariš achievement sux big time. I have lost 250 points freezing to death in those winter scenarios, winning against all odds 3 times each one of them (Breakout at Klin, Gates of Moscow, Red Baricades Factory, Suomussalmi). I guess a dozen of victories under comrad commissair opens either the gate of Kremlin, or the transport train to Gulag. Maybe in Moscow's PRAVDA once was an article about my promotion, but so far, nothing has reached my unit. [Report message to a moderator]

I'm really not into programming, but I'm somewhat astonished that it seems to be so difficult to remove this particular bug. As any Soviet player who wins Suomussalmi (or any other scenario in question) MUST have achieved this by adhering to the Commissar rule, the procedure should be just the same as at Omaha, shouldn't it?
