Get your historian achievement today !	Fri, 13 May 2011 17:08

For those of us who do not have the 'historian' achievement yet, looks like the new Pacific scenario 'Sugar Loaf and Half Moon' will give it to you starting today as the battle was fought from May 13-19. [Report message to a moderator]

1 scenario today and 5 tomorrow. The day is counted in Paris time, which is UTC+2 (summer time). So for those in New Zealand D-Day begins at 10:00 Monday So for those in Paris midnight 00:00 Monday So for those in US East Coast 20:00 Sunday Hope that helps. Monday is a public holiday in New Zealand so I will see you from 10:00 NZST. (We celebrate our Queen's birthday even though it isn't her actual birthday). [Report message to a moderator]

I have played all D-Day scenarios today and have just noticed that not all of my opponents were awarded the "historian" badge. I played "cadet glwgardner" at "Sainte-Mère-Eglise - 06/06/2011" and he wasn't awarded the medal. His officer career page doesn't show the award. Other players playing D-Day battles have won the medal. Is this an issue associated with "Sainte-Mere-Eglise" ? And Jesse, yes I have reported this as a bug. P.S. Yes, we fixed a bug in 1.0 about problems with achievements in Sainte Mère Eglise... If you try again today, it should work.

This one wasn't about me Brice.

What happens to those who played Stainte Mere Eglise on June 6 using beta 25? They weren't awarded the historian medal.

Can your team identify these unfortunate players (I named 2 above) and award them their historian badge? There is only a limited amount of time left on June 6 and some/most of these players won't be able to repeat the battle.

If it was me I couldn't as I have to go (to bed) and tomorrow morning (my time) I actually have to earn my keep (real life prevents online life).

I would imagine(PURE CONJECTURE HERE) that if you played maybe 25 scenarios on their anniversary dates, you might get an Advanced Historian Badge. I think it is probably related to some number of times these games are played. Keep playing and eventually you will find out. [Report message to a moderator]

Thanks for the reminder - somehow I thought this would be tomorrow. Played match and rematch. The rematch was interesting. The game started with 4 Air Power attacks. The Axis played the Air Power and attacked the 4 units on the Allied bottom left. Th Allies counterattack to the Axis bottom left. The Axis counter attacked in the same place. The Allies played a Right Flank Recon-1 as an Air Power attacking the same 4 units. On figures destroyed the Allies won that phase, loosing 5 figures and destroying 10 (including 1 infantry figure eliminated). 4 Air Power attacks in 4 consecutive turns. During ordering phase, you just select up to 4 ajacent enemy units (of which the first must be in the proper section) instead of selecting one of your own units in that section.
