AI Don't take their turn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!	Fri, 27 May 2011 22:15

I've played several games where at some point, the AI just doesn't take their turn and just sits there. Its really annoying! On another note, the draw pile keeps disappearing randomly and coming back when someone takes a card from it. [Report message to a moderator]

Haven't experienced this. Is it in any particular version, or random?

Hi, About your bug, are you talking about online play (in case of someone replaced by a Bot) or solo play ? About the draw pile disappearing, there is indeed a bug in online play: the pile sometimes disappears and reappears when someone takes his first visible card. Also note that sometimes the pile may disappear for a good reason: all players have taken so much cards and never claimed any route. Then, there's no more card left in the pile. FYI, there are 110 color cards. It often occurs in 5 player mode. [Report message to a moderator]

Well this would never happen in an actual game, but if you play against basic bots and just spam drawing cards, the game sometimes bugs so that everyone draws 10+ cards until they run out. Also when I depleted the train deck so there were no cards to take, and the bot couldn't play any route, It just sat there rather then take tickets. And yes i'm talking about solo play with the AI not taking its turn. [Updated on: Sat, 28 May 2011 18:12] [Report message to a moderator]

In hundreds and hundreds of games (online and, now, iPad), I've never seen this once. In conversations with other players and/or email exchanges, it's never been brought up once.

And you've seen it "several" times ... ?

Have you had it on any map other then Europe? I'm not sure if I've seen it on other maps.

Maybe has to do with train stations?

EDIT: I did say i had it once on Sweden didn't I, but never happens on America, and Ive played a lot of Sweden and it hasn't happened again.

I've seen this 3-4 times (in about 50+ games). I always play the European map against 4 AI players. Seems to happen when the blue train cards get low. I've also seen an infinite loop with three wild cards/locomotives getting recycled (again, when blue train cards are low). [Report message to a moderator]

Are you sure the Locomotives recycle loop is infinite? because normally it will try to recycle a limited number of times (3, off the top of my head), then stop.

I had it three times already with the US map and I've been playing for three days. Here is an example where the blue Nebulous Bot is just not playing: I posted it in a new thread, so sorry for double posting. I will remove the other message if we continue over here. [Report message to a moderator]
