Buy the piece! Wed, 13 July 2011 23:15
I wonder if it is possible to buy the single pieces of Memoir game?
In case I lost 2 infantry figures - where can I find a help?
Or in case to complete brand new Allies army to play Overlord?
Or just created new scenario which is using badge that I don't possess in my collection?

Recently, my friend told me that he bought a couple of blocks from LEGO online store, his children lost in a playground. So I thought maybe it is good idea to do something similar in DOW!

What do you think?

DOW does not currently sell game parts bit by bit, but there are several entrepreneurs on EBAY who do.

go to your local hobby store and purchase a package of 1/72 scale soldiers of the nationality you need. you'll never notice the difference, unless you look for it.

I bought 5 72nd armies, tried to play them, some of the figs fell over when I tried to move them as a unit. I'm going to glue thin plastic or thin card stock to the bottoms. Cool Smile
Hope this helps.

The reason for the plastic is because the bases on the 72nd figs are small.

In another thread, I suggested that DOW should start selling pieces in groups of 2-3 in either bags or bubble wrap. It would also enable them to add other vehicles or specialty figures without having to do an entire expansion kit. However, for now, no luck.

I agree. I would like to buy blister-packs of figures. I also would like to be able to buy dice, command cards, terrain cards, and counters separate. Sometimes I am not interested in the whole expansion but some of the items would go great with what I have already bought. If DOW does not want to go to the expense of full manufacturing then drop them into a sandwich bag and mail them in a sturdy mailing bag or box.

You could buy another copy of Memoir '44 and sell the parts you don't need on Ebay, thereby helping out others in the same situation as yourself.

In fact, someone beat you to it:
