Am I the only one that cannot connect to the DoW server? I get the message "connection refused"
"it seems it is not possible toto connect to our servers.
Maybe your internet connection is down, or you have a firewall that blocks TCP/IPoutgoing connection to port 9598.

Nothing wrong with my connection or firewall. It is like this for 3 hours already.

I think maybe DOW have had general server issues today ? Earlier on this morning GMT I lost connection to the DOW website and kept getting an error message for quite a while about no data on back end server Sad

We had to unexpectedly reboot a server this morning and things took longer than planned to come back online. It's all fixed now.

Sorry for the unintended interruption of service that resulted.

I know these things happen. You really can't do anything about it.

But on the other hand, what you can do is put a message on the DoW website which says the server is down. Right now nobody knows anything and everybody is chanigng his own setup because of the message they get in the game.

Change this in-game message and add the line "we may have a problem with OUR server" and put a message on your website next time.
