Exit markers problem Mon, 12 September 2011 22:52
Hi!
In the first version I have put the Exit markers in my "Frankfurt am Oder" online scenario, so that the Soviets can exit through the whole German side. There were two major problems:

1) It was impossible to use the whole side as an exit between two markers. Just those two hexes worked.
2) BOTH players could exit through them and get a medal, so it was nonsense putting the markers at all.

In the end I fixed the scenario by using the victory medal system for awarding the Soviet player for partially or completely surrounding the city and the German player for blocking the bridgeheads, but Soviet player should have the reward for heading forward to Berlin too.

Anyone knows solution to this exit marker problem?

Many thanks in advance!!!

Luka

I don't know the solution to this problem, but I would like to point out that it is DIE Oder, not DER, so perhaps you should correct the title of your scenario. No offense meant. Smile

Exit markers are not part of the base game, and so currently not supported in Expert mode.

You will have to wait for a future version of the Scenario editor (to be released with an update to the game itself) that lets you explicitly attach the proper behavior (hex range, side they are available to, etc..). Sorry!

Thank you very much for the quick answer, Eric!!! I'll wait for that then.

@ Turboheizer: higher ranking officer cannot offend a lower ranking officer. Ja, Herr Oberst! Laughing
