Using headset and mic on ipad

Can anyone tell me how to use the headset and mic for talking during play on ticket to ride.
Another player had mentioned something about turning it on while we played and I didn't get a chance to ask him how you do that.

I haven't heard of anyone doing this while playing Ticket to Ride on the iPad. It would surprise me if this was possible...  but I guess you never know!
I've heard of people using Skype while playing, but I believe they are always using another device for the conversation. Good luck!
