Campaign Book - Volume 2

Anybody have any thoughts on when they will start shipping this? I am eagerly waiting (not patiently) for that and the Invasion of Crete to arrive at my front door. I thought the date was supposed to be Dec 7th, but maybe I just imagined that.

The estimated shipping dates were 7th dec for the US store and 9th Dec for the Euro Store. Im hoping they ship soon as I have several items waiting for dispatch from the Euro store as soon as they have CB Vol2
I guess the keyword is estimated. having said that I have never had christmas cheer from DoW fail to arrive in time (hope I haven't jinxed myself LOL )

I have the same problem
But on the DOW store it states as been available around the 9th December. So hopefully after his weekend it will be flying off the shelves and posted to my home in plenty of time for Christmas.
Like you I have other things attached to this order, 3 of which were waiting for release
The India map for ticket to ride
The new tunnels expansion for Small world
Campaign book volume 2
Hopefully this is the last one to be released and the order can then be posted.
(The other 2 new items were released around the time advertised)
My previous orders have all been quick to arrive once processed so delivery time should not be an issue.

A shipping delay has caused the release date to be pushed back to the 15th.

Cheer up, lads! Maybe the reason why they put it on Dec. 20 is, that they don't want to disappoint us again with a wrong shipping date, so they put there the one which is absolutely certain. So maybe the courier will come sooner than expected...

What makes you think Invasion of Crete will be arriving your front door? To date, all I have heard, officially (a couple months back) is a vague allusion to something special toward year end. Who knows, maybe that was campaign book 2. The rest is just rumor as far as I know. Or is it?

There was a note to the effect that ALL Campaign books #2 shipped in the US would have an accompanying Battle of Crete booklet included.

In the US we have some left-over printed copies of the Invasion of Crete Tournament Scenarios, which were used for the Memoir '44 tournaments at both Gencon and the World Board Game Championships. We'll be sending these out to retail game stores at the same time as the Campaign Book Volume 2 is available, so ask your local Memoir retailer when you pickup the Campaign Book.
Additionally, we will add a copy to any Memoir '44 Campaign Book 2 orders from the Days of Wonder web store. For non-US customers, and for customers whose local retailer may not have any copies left, we'll post an English PDF of the campaign as a free download on our web site when the Campaign Book becomes available.

Ah man, sorry to hear that!! If you have other orders linked to the CB#2, can you separate the two so that you can at least get the other games for Christmas?

Just been in touch with the Euro store about this
They said that unfortunately they cannot split an order or send partial deliveries
But the good news is that they were expecting to receive the CB2 this Friday and would be shipping them out on Monday!!!
So fingers (and toes) crossed we might still receive the items in time for Christmas

I'm happy for all of you! Enjoy the book once you get it and Merry Christmas!!
If it somehow doesn't get to you by Christmas, think of it as just extending your chance to celebrate the holidays... But hopefully that won't be an issue.

I really hope that it'll arrive until Christmas.
In the last couple of months I've become the "busy man". I rarely have enough time for a match or two (mostly because I'm too tired to set up the board besides playing). And winter break is the last period of this year in which I can really enjoy playing games!

Good point. But if you have an iPad (or computer) you'll be able to pull the PDF up and have even better (or at least more vivid) graphics than even a printed copy. But it's true, there's something nice about having a printed book. Maybe you'll be able to trade with someone who gets a copy!

Me, too. I'm a bit anxious, as it may not make it to me in time for Christmas if it isn't sent out by tomorrow. A bit frustrating, too, given the original expected ship date was Dec. 7th- I figured I'd have no problem getting it in time. As it's a gift for my brother, and I have to travel to see him, we'll be out of luck playing it over the holiday if they don't send it ASAP.
Hopefully DoW will allow me to change the shipping address, if it comes to that....
