iPhone version crashes when resuming a solo game

I had to set my iPhone down the other day in the middle of a game and when I came back to play this morning, I got a "Resuming a Solo Game" dialog box asking if i wanted to resume my unfinished game. Every time I click "Yes", the app crashes. (I have an iPhone 4S running iOS 5.0.1)

Have you tried clicking "No"? What happens then?

It takes me back to the home screen, but I am required to start a new game. I would have liked to resume that game I already had in progress, though.
