When I get into Ticket to ride and hit play, I created a game but could go no further than that. What do I do next?

Was it a Solo game or an Online game? On which platform?
Did you have your sound turned on and listen to the instructions? or read the messages at the bottom of your screen?
Assuming you saw the map you were going to play on appear on screen, you should then select your destination tickets.
Also try and read the rules first (for instance by clicking on the White notepad at the top of your screen)
