I'm sure this idea has been floating around for a while now...but I would love to see Memoir '44 brought to Android. It seems graphically feasible I think the touchpad feature of an Android smartphone would work very well.
Anybody else as wishful as I in this regard?

I think there's a group of you guys who would love to see Days of Wonder games on Android devices. However, based on the fact that DoW has created other games for iOS devices (Small World and Ticket to Ride for iPad, Ticket to Ride for iPhone), I would guess that if Memoir '44 is going to be made for a mobil device, they'll make it for an Apple device.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you might be out of luck for the Android. Having said that, 'Hope Springs Eternal' so you can keep hoping!!

M44 online is - as I understand it - a java application.
A certain popular Apple device doesn't support java which would make a M44 port much more difficult.
Android OS does support Java so it should be easier to do a M44 port.
That said DoW is a company, it will go where it believes the revenue is (and we can't blame them for that).
If enough Android users pledged to buy a M44 online version then who knows what may happen

I'd buy an Android based M44 app!
I have almost stopped using desktop/laptop computers since getting an Android based Tablet so I would really like to see M44 available for my phone and tablet which are both Android based. In fact, I was browsing the forums this evening looking for info about the possibility of it being available for Android soon.
Just wanted to add my request to the list.
