Welcome, welcome, welcome.
DoW do not generally announce expansions in advance.
I suspect this is to avoid disappointment in production is delayed.
This avoids building expectations that can't be met.
We have been assured good things are coming

Hello,
there is an interview somewhere at BBG and from there you can guess something is about to come. But there is no real evidence to say when or what.

There you go (Mr. Google did the trick )
You have to go over the 5 pages and infer your own conclusions about what/when Memoir 44 will grow.

This interview was done online via question and answer chat in January 2012.
Read and enjoy and draw your own conclusions!
Clips from the BGG interview with Richard Borg:

| Quote: | And the question I need to ask even if I know you can't answer: How much more Memoir do you have for us?
Stig Morten
|
(RB) You are correct Stig, I cannot say much about anything except there are some very cool expansions coming for Memoir in 2012 and beyond.
|
| Quote: | I do apologize in advance, I cannot answer nor should I answer or may I give any specifics about a future game release. I also cannot comment on future plans of a company. If, however, a game company has already made an announcement about a game I may be able to give out some information, but these details may also be limited. Again I do apologize.
I may also not have the opportunity to answer specifically each and every one of your questions. Please don't feel slighted, they are all important to me. I will try my best.
Richard Borg

Work is being done on a number of Commands & Colors games. Currently you can, however, play Memoir '44 and Battle Cry on line. But because of the complex nature of Commands & Colors it may take some time before anything is ready for the iPad.

|
New Memoir scenarios because being the wargame designer of the month, No! BUT there are lots more scenarios in the works because there is still a lot more WWII to be covered.

2. Will there be new miniature-expansions for Memoir (French army during Blitzkrieg,...)

(RB) Yes

Good point. Personally, I think there are lots of different expansions that could still be done and I've never been disapointed with the creativity of Richard Borg and his expansions! I look forward to great new things for this game in the years to come...whatever they end up being!

Not necessarily. Post- and Pre-WWII Memoir (especially Vietnam or hypothetical East vs West ) seems just OK for me... Most of WW2 has been already covered, anyway...

Post WW2 could be "Command and Colours: Cold Wars"
WW1 could be "C & C: Trench Wars"
Memoir 44 should stay WW2, maybe some pre WW2 like Spanish Civil War, or Japanese vs China.
There are still lots of campaign to be done for Memoir44.
For Example, there are lots of scenarios for North Africa, but no campaign yet.
And lots of battles are begging for the Overlord treatment!

Great idea. I enjoy the North Africa battles and would love seeing a North African Campaign Book. Maybe it could include at least one Breakthrough Campaign in the desert!

Amen, Overlord is the red haired step child of Memoir it seems. Overlord has been around for 7+ years with less than 1/2 the scenarios of breakthrough which is about 2 years old now.
More Overlord please!

I don't think it's an issue of DoW not liking Overlord as much...I think they just look at their population of customers and don't see as many people who play Memoir '44 in groups of 8. They see lots of people who play with one other person, and so the 2-player variants get more attention.
But I do love me a good Overlord battle, so I'll add to your call..."More Overlord Please!"

I started playing M44 back in August'11. I've got almost every available expansion since then. I showed my friends/playmates the game and 2 of them liked so much that they got the core game + eastern front, and they are planning to get more expansions next month.
We had our first Overlord a few weeks ago "Bastogne Overlord" in a 3 vs 3 thrilling/amazing/funny game.
They don't want to play 1 vs 1 anymore Next scheduled OL game is "Prokhorovka Overlord" and they want me to schedule any beach OL scenario for early June. So it looks like OL format is a win-win.
I know I'm lucky because having a persistent and consolidated group of playmates is hard to find. But I know there are only a few more of OL games to be played. I wish we had many more now we have discovered this format.

I know that feeling, everyone I play with, once they try Overlord they don't want to go back to 2 player. In the rare case of only two people playing, Overlord map/rules are still the superior way to play!

That is a neat project!! Thanks for putting it together and making it available to the community.
Are you saying that you don't want official campaigns or scenarios because there are similar ones in SFTF? I enjoy a good fan-created scenario now and then, but I really like Richard's battles and those made by the other big names out there.
I also love the production quality and the art that comes with official expansions! There's something wonderful about the glossy paper with World War II art shining up at you!
