How do you have your pc online ticket to ride game play with an ipad user with ticket to ride pocket

Is there a way that my mother who plays on her laptop with the ticket to ride online game can play the game with me who uses the ticket to ride pocket app on my ipad2? We are on the same wi-fi but her game is not coming up on my ipad. We are really confused and trying to figure out if there is a way we can play together.
Please help.

Did you verify that both are you are either on the same WiFi network or on the same Bluetooth network?
Also please make sure that you both have the same map selected to play on (i.e. either the base US game or the SAME USA 1910 variant). If the map selected on your iPhone is not the same one as the one she starts her game on on the iPad, your iPhone won't see it.
