Memoir '44 Equipment Pack

Any truth to this?
From BGG
http://boardgamegeek.com/article/9291641#9291641
"The Memoir '44 Equipment Pack is a major expansion to the Memoir ‘44 game system and fills a game box as big as the original board game. 186 plastic figures in total, the Equipment Pack includes: 108 figures from 4 WWII nations, including French Infantry, Finnish Ski Troops, Italian Artillery and Polish Cavalry; 24 new pieces of Artillery (Flak-88’s, “Long Tom” Big Guns, M7 Priests and “Screaming Meemies” Nebelwerfers); new Beach Landing equipment that includes 6 amazing Hobart’s Funnies, complete with accessories; 6 Snipers; and scores of new Armor, Vehicle and Special Weapon Assets, including some Elefant Tank Destroyers, Kübelwagen Command cars, and M2 Mortars and Machine Guns.
These figures can be deployed over many of the existing Memoir ‘44 scenarios and are also heavily featured in the 10 Standard, 2 Breakthrough and 4 Overlord new scenarios that come in the Equipment Pack. A 32 page Rules booklet and 25 Summary cards complement this pack. This expansion requires at least one copy of the Memoir ‘44 base game. Many of its expansions are required to enjoy most of the included scenarios. We highly recommend that, for visual accuracy, players at minimum own the Terrain Pack and the Winter/Desert board."
If true how much will it cost?
Too bad it won't be here in time for the June 6th anniversary...

If this is true, I might need to dedicate some Memoir time to working out.
The Campaign bag is getting heavy!

Well I don't know. Why make a figures of finnish ski troops? For one map? The same for Polish cavalry - so you will use american infantry with polish cavalry..both diferent color I think? M7 priests? And why not german Hummels? Why Elefants and not StuG's III? Better add Tigers and new classic artillery pieces for Germans and Americans. Seems a little bit strange to me.

If true (and based on the BGG thread, it seems to be), this is great news. A much-wanted expansion that should sell like crazy.
Guess I'm going to have to dust off my paints and tiny brushes soon...

This is why DOW doesn't announce its products in advance. How about if we wait to see it before rating it?

It's just my opinion based on info from that message. Of course I will wait until release of this pack, which one I'm definitely going to buy to make complete opinion about this. These questions just raised to me when I was reading this. Hopefully we will get some more detailed info from DOW asap.

As good as it sounds (and yes, I am wearing a bib now to collect the drool) we will only know officially if it is true when it goes for sale in the DOW store. Unless, of course, they put out their own press release in advance. Until then, as much as I would love it, it is just conjecture.

It has my interest
But how "new" will it be? It seems that most of the units only replace badges

Badges aren't much fun.
I've bought some self propelled artiller and jagdpanthers to replace badges.

I have done very similar.
I have Italian infantry and armor as well as French armor and a plethora of other specialty units... Unfortunately DoW missed an opportunity to include revised British infantry wearing the correct helmets and allied 105mm artillery... oh well...
I welcome the other additions and will likely pick up a copy or two of the Equipment Pack.

I also have 1/2 dozen boxes of Airfix Infantry to introduce to my game. I'd still buy the M44 Equipment pack.

Sounds good.
Hope there will be French armor and artillery too and not just the French infantry. I'm assuming it's early war French infantry, btw.

I was surprised to hear it from somewhere besides DOW - I'm keeping my excitement in check until the rumors are confirmed. I think that if it was not true, however, someone from DOW would have spoken up by now and killed the rumor. I hope they would, anyway.
