Even though Polish Calvary, Italian Arty, Landing craft and Funnies are cool they are not used very much compared to other units. I would rather have had separate distinct pieces for each nationality like the Tank Destroyers all being German Elephants would rather have had U.S. and Russian tank destroyers, Black Waffen SS tigers and different elite troops for each nationality.
Just my opinion.

Actually the reason has to do with moulds. It is less expensive to make larger moulds with various types of unit per mould than to mould each piece separately and in a separate color. Yes, DOW could have done as you said but know one would pay the cost for that product. This is a reasonable and cost effective compromise which gets the product out to the most folks at the best price. Kudos to DOW for taking the time and effort to produce another top notch product. I'll be buying it... It is among one of my favorite games to play with my sons. I just need to learn to paint where is that primer on painting from Ras???

There are a few of those around, but are you talking about painting them all one color (in which case a realistic color guide would be less useful) or are you wanting to paint some details on the figures?
