According to the rules if using a Recon card as an Air Power action when Blitz rules are in play, you must have at least one target unit in the sector for which the Recon card has designated.

For example if you play a left flank Recon card with one unit on the left flank in line with 4 units in the centre flank, you can select the 1 unit on the left flank followed by clicking on the next three units on the centre flank. You can then "walk" the airstrike by clicking again on the unit on the left flank and then click on the 4th unit on the centre flank! The airstrike then targets the 4 units on the centre flank!

I assume this is a bug in the online game, and is not allowed when playing the board game.

never noticed this. It's a bug indeed.

Please send in a bug report when it happens the next time.

I never noticed that bug. I always target at least 1 on the correct flank.

Airstrikes can only target 4 adjacent hexes so at least one of the hexes must be on the left flank leaving only 3 hexes to be targeted in the center..
Never have tried "walking" it over! did you report it?

Never did report it as I thought it was ok to do until I did it against someone who was amazed that I was able to do it.

Wasn't 100% sure that it was a bug.

Yep, it's a bug. If you can remember which battle you did it in, you can take a screen shot of that move and report it now...otherwise report it when you have the chance to do the 'walking' Airstrike again.
