Not enough sandbags for SoS

If a person has owns a battlemap (say, Sword of Stalingrad which uses more than a single set of 12 sandbag pieces), and goes with the Overlord expansion rather than buying a second base set, what do you do about being short by several sandbag pieces?
I don't remember how many SoS requires but it's more than 12, so what do you do if you don't have a second base set?
WANTED TO BUY: another set of sandbags/hedgehogs/wire

Partially snap a long matchstick in half, (but still intact). Ink /paint it, either blue or grey.
One perfectly suitable sandbag.
Just dont scrape it across your playing surface.. lol

I rememeber one wargamer who made sandbags out of chiclets gum. Their shape closely minics a sandbag and this fellow glued the pcs together on a base and then painted them.

How about simple drawing some on cardboard
(or left-overs off the cardboard i still got where you press the tyles out)
This way build you a 'poor mans set' off extra sandbaggs, in following the 'poor mens set' idea add-on cardboard units, included in the overlord pack.

Yes, a good idea. I just wonder why they weren't included in the Overlord expansion with the rest of the cardboard bits. Seems to me like this little detail was overlooked.
So it turns out that the Overlord expansion isn't "all the material required" to play the battlemaps after all.

Hello,
I've run into the same issue. I sorted it out by printing some obstacles using an A4 sticker on cardboard. The results are good enough how to use them on any scenario.
I will upload it to My User page early in the morning tomorrow. Stay tuned!
Regards

Amilcar,
I don't know any Spanish, but your User Page looks very useful for Spanish players.
Very good.

Hehe, thanks. I'm focusing my efforts for the spaniards because we hardly have anything translated into Spanish but the Core Game.
I hope you found the Basic_Obstacles printable PDF useful enough, if you got it.
Cheers
